Treatment principle for pigmented dermatosis of Q Switched Nd: YAG Laser Therapy system lies in selective photothermolysis with melanin as the chromophore. Q-Switched Nd:YAG has higher Peak power and nanoseconds-level pulse width. Melanin in melanophpre and cuticle formed cells have a short hot relaxation time. It could immediately make small selectively energy absorbed granules (tattoopigment and melanin) blast without injuring surrounded normal tissuer. The blasted pigment granules will be exereted from body through circulatory system.
Firstly, the laser is absorbed by according pigments or ink; Secondly, the pigment mass expands quickly and break into particles; Thirdly, particles are absorbed by phagocytes, and excreted out by body; Finally, gradually the pigment becomes lighter and lighter till disappearing.
